2015 All-Australian team

The 2015 All-Australian team will represent the best performed Australian Football League (AFL) players in the 2015 season. It will be announced in September 2015, as a complete Australian rules football team of 22 players. The team is honorary and does not play any games.

Selection panel

The All Australian selection panel will consist of Gillon McLachlan (chairman), Kevin Bartlett, Luke Darcy, Mark Evans, Danny Frawley, Glen Jakovich, Cameron Ling, Matthew Richardson and Warren Tredrea.[1]

The chosen team will be announced on 22 September 2015.

Note: the position of coach in the All-Australian team is traditionally awarded to the coach of the premiership team.

Initial squad

The initial 40-man squad was announced on 8 September 2015. For the first time since it entered the AFL in 2011, Gold Coast did not have a player selected in the squad, while Geelong did not have a player nominated for the first time since 2006.[2][3]
