Efraín Rivera Pérez (born in 1951) is an Associate Justice to the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. He has held that position since 2000.

Career

Rivera received his Law Defree from the Pontif Catholic University of Puerto Rico. He served in varios courts in Puerto Rico until 1992 when Governor Pedro Rosselló hired him to be his Legal Advisor. He also served as Deputy Attorney General.

In 2000 he was appointed to the [Supreme Court of Puerto Rico|Supreme Court]] by Governor Rosselló. He took the oath of office on July 13, 2000 after ratification by the Senate.

Rivera is affilated with the New Porgressive Party of Puerto Rico.
