Adam Saleh is an American YouTube personality, vlogger, comedian, actor and rapper from New York City, USA best known for his Youtube videos.[2][3][4]

Life and career

Adam Saleh was born in Brooklyn to Yemeni parents. He started making YouTube videos in 2012 as a part of his YouTube channel "TrueStoryASA" with his college friend Sheikh Akbar.[5] He told in an interview: “Sheikh, Abdulla, and I went to college in New York City. One day we were really bored and we just decided to do a video for fun. We started to upload videos on YouTube and Alhamdulillah (thankfully) it got us to where we are right now. We had a lot of interviews on TV shows.”.[6] Adam and Sheikh Akbar split up in May 2015.[7] He has also appeared in buddy cop comedy-drama action film American Sharia as Jihad. [8] He released his debut single “Diamond Girl” on May 3, 2015 featuring Sheikh Akbar and Mumzy Stranger.[9] On 16 August 2015 he released another single “Tears” featuring Zack Knight as a tribute to his cousin.

Racial Profiling Experiment

A video titled "Racial Profiling Experiment'" uploaded in October 2014 became viral just after upload. In the video Saleh and Sheikh Akbar argued with each other in front of a police officer wearing western outfits. the cop turned a blind eye to their action. Few minutes later again they fight while dressed in Muslim clothes, this time cop immediately tops them and becomes rude towards them. The video received more than 200,000 views. Public reaction to the video was against the police officer[10][11][12]
