Bergüzar Gökçe Korel Ergenç (Turkish pronunciation: [beɾɟyˈzaːɾ koˈrel]) (born 27 August 1982) is a Turkish actress.
Biography
She spent her childhood in the town of Ulus, located near Beşiktaş, İstanbul. She had played professionally volleyball and she studied theatre in university. She attended Yildiz College and studied at Mimar Sinan University, National Conservatoire, Theatre Department. Korel made her debut as Leyla in Kurtlar Vadisi: Irak (Valley of the Wolves: Iraq). She came to wide attention after starring as Şehrazat Evliyaoğlu in Binbir Gece. She co-stared again with her husband in his hugely popular show "Muhtesem Yuzyil" as guest role of Monica Teresse for one episode (Episode 24). In 2015, she stars as Feride Şadoğlu alongside Kenan İmirzalıoğlu in the series Karadayı.
Personal life
Both of her parents Tanju Korel (d. 2005) and Hülya Darcan are also actors. She has an older sister, Zeynep, who lived for several years in the USA. In 2009 Korel married fellow actor Halit Ergenç, who was her partner in Binbir Gece. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Ali, in February 2010.

Bergüzar Korel Memorial Forest. This forest was founded by those who love Berguzar Korel on 27.8.2015. Berguzar was very much touched and did not know what to say.It is new Berguzar Korel's Memorial forest! They kept this project a secret until now. 2000 young plants were planted out to create a big green forest for future generations from Berguzar.
Berguzar's fan's club presented it to Berguzar on her 33rd birthday with this young forest :
"This is the present we kept a secret. 2000 young plants to immortalize Berguzar's name. Let these plants tell you about our love. We want Berguzar's name remembered from generation to generation. We want these plants to be for Ali's children. It will be a good memory from us. We're saying and will always say that we love you. In the future, when people will be walking here, they'll say "Such a beautiful person existed who was loved so much!" We hope you will like our present and smile! We'll always say we love you very much! Happy birthday and all the best! And we all are a big family!"
Bergüzar Korel Library
Bergüzar Korel Library/academy was founded by her fans, where poor children are taught free off cost & are provided with books.

3. In an Arab TV Survey, Bugra Gulsoy & Alica Yocesoy preferred Berguzar Korel. There is no comparison to Berguzar, Yocesoy added.
