The Cedro (Cedrela odorata) is a tree semicaducifolio in our climate, monoico, of 10-15 m high, going so far as to reach 30 m in his zones of origin, of rounded and dense glass and trunk with the thick crust, of color gray - brown, with longitudinal irregular fissures. Sheets pinnadas, grouped towards the end of the branches, of 15-50 cm long, with 5-11 pairs of opposite or alternate, often scythe-shaped folíolos, of lanceolados to oblong, of 7-15 x 3-5 cm, with the base oblícuamente truncated and asymmetric.
