Thomas images

Can you reupload my Thomas Images, i'll add the copyrights and I understand them. Keefeky (talk) 21:54, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you have found images that are compatibly licenced then you can upload those versions yourself. Nthep (talk) 09:58, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Potteries

Hi. I was reading your user page the other day, and shortly afterwards saw this article about the Potteries that I thought might be of interest. Cordless Larry (talk) 20:30, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link, I'm going to be watching that series with interest. Nthep (talk) 20:31, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nthep, can you recover one of previous revisions? Someone replaced it, and I was oblivious about it. --George Ho (talk) 03:47, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

responded at Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion#File:Easy Lover Phil Collins and Philip Bailey seven-inch.jpg. Nthep (talk) 10:44, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

You deleted Mobilelink cricket as spam. I came across Mobilelink usa which has also been tagged for spam. I was checking if there is a copyvio and it appears that the usa version of the article may be the same as the cricket version. Can you check? There may be some sockpuppetry going on or similar shenanigans. Thanks. -- Whpq (talk) 19:52, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The two articles were identical, obviously one was a cut and paste of the other. The socking looks to be after I blocked the first account. As both accounts are now blocked for spamming I'm not sure and SPI is needed unless you want to create one to record the evidence. Nthep (talk) 20:04, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't want to cause extra admin work if there isn't going to be a recurrence. It has the smell of an SEO company at work, so if it does reappear, it can be dealt with then. Thanks. -- Whpq (talk) 01:34, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bingley railway station

Hi, I'm puzzled by this edit. You don't seem to have removed any parameters from refs; rather, you seem to have reverted the three edits made two days ago by Keith D (talk · contribs). --Redrose64 (talk) 13:43, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No idea what happened there. There was CS1 error due to the use of |language= in the cite and the intention was to remove that. Nthep (talk) 14:10, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Think I've fixed the disappearing bits. Nthep (talk) 14:17, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for the insight at my user Talk page! I will try doing so- now onwards. FindMeLost (talk) 03:51, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted me - File:Latin Kaleidoscope.jpg

No idea why. - hahnchen 11:21, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want a bigger logo then fine but replace the non-free use rationale with a PD or CC licence and file information. Nthep (talk) 11:46, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I already updated the licensing here. - hahnchen 11:54, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
and left the NFR in place. It's one or the other. Make it unequivocal about which it is and if it's PD then I'll restore the larger image. Nthep (talk) 12:09, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You should review image licensing when deleting versions. As I can't revert it anyway, I'll leave it with you. - hahnchen 23:25, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've asked for non-free content review on whether PD-textlogo is applicable. Nthep (talk) 09:23, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deceased Wikipedian

Thanks for reverting that user - BollyBoeuf. I'm pretty sure it will turn out to be Technoquat messing around, per this peculiar mention. - Sitush (talk) 21:02, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

asked for CU after blocking the account. Nthep (talk) 22:02, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects

I don't understand why you deleted some of my redirects. Those are perfectly plausible redirects; phonetic misspellings and such; many people don't know how to spell the word "backboard". Not everyone knows how to use autofill, either, so I think the redirects should stay. - A window cleaner me (talk) 16:47, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously we don't create redirects to cover every possible eventuality. Also the search engine picks up grammatical similarities like "back board" and "back-board" in any event. Nthep (talk) 16:54, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, it does not. See back board (basketball) for an example. - A window cleaner me (talk) 16:57, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Search for "back-board" and the first result is your redirect Shattering the back board. You have to assume a reasonable level of readership and not worry about all the permutations. Nthep (talk) 17:02, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What is the harm done in having a redirect to the right page? Redirects are cheap. - A window cleaner me (talk) 17:03, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
