Willy Bum Face
Willy Bum Face is a rare and fascinating insult used in not many countries. Even those who use it regularly have no idea of the real meaning and origin. The word originated in Nottinghamshire in England in the 12th century AD by the polish poet, John 'Big Man' Cena. The name refers to a species of freshwater fish that is now extinct in the wild. the fish is thought to be extinct because of its delicious meat which is referenced in many Norman cookery books such as Delia's "your mother" and Hugh Fernly Whitingstale's, three things on a plate. It is thought to be an insult as the willy bum face was an incredibly ugly creature not to dissimilar to deep sea angler fish. Interestingly this fish inspired many revolutionary inventions, such as the aeroplane, the iPhone and the cucumber. Willy Bum Face is often used as an insult in many places such as the living room, the windpipe and your mother.
