Chris Beath is an Australian football (soccer) referee in the A-League.[1][2]

He has refereed at the National Youth Championships in 2003 and in 2004.[1]

Beath was the referee of the tournament at the 2002 Kanga Cup.[3]

Beath was added to the FIFA International Referees List in 2011,[4][5] serving as a referee for matches including the Kirin Challenge Cup contest between Japan and Iceland.[6]

On the 14th of November 2015, Beath was criticized for failing to keep an even playing field between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory. During the match, he denied multiple penalties for Sydney and failed to send off Rashid Mahazi for two bad fouls and elbowing Filip Hološko in the face, as well Besart Berisha for kneeing and kicking Matthew Jurman in the stomach.
