Kao Ching-yuen

Template:Chinese name Kao Ching-yuen (Chinese: 高清愿; pinyin: Gāo Qīngyuàn; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ko Chheng-gōan; born May 24, 1929) is a Taiwanese businessman. Kao was born in a moneyless family located in Syuejia, Tainan. He is the founder and was, till 2013 [1], the chairman of Uni-president, the largest food corporation of Taiwan, based in Tainan, mainly actives in Taiwan, Mainland China and Southeast Asia. Kao began to serve as a workman in his teenage years. He got into the Taiwan Spinning (台南紡織), a textile processing company in 1954, and became a manager later. Kao left Taiwan Spinning in 1966.
He established the Uni-president Corporation in 1967.[2]
In 2003 he was awarded a Management Medal by the Chinese Management Association.[3]
