Chris Scott (born August 4, 1987) is an American football offensive guard for the Carolina Panthers. He played college football at the University of Tennessee and was selected in the fifth round (151st overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft.

Professional career

Pittsburgh Steelers

Scott played in two games for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011 before being cut by the team on October 5, 2011.

Green Bay Packers

Scott was signed by the Packers in 2012, but released in that same year.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Scott was signed by the Buccaneers in 2012, but cut a short time later.

Tennessee Titans

Scott was signed to the Titans' practice squad in 2012. He was released in 2012.

Buffalo Bills

Scott was signed by the Bills in 2012. In the early 2013, he was released.

Carolina Panthers

On August 2, 2013, he was signed by the Carolina Panthers. Chris signed exclusive rights with the Panthers on 4 23 2014.[1] On August 30, 2014, he was released. On October 14, 2014, he was signed to the Panthers' practice squad. On October 21, 2014, he was promoted to the active roster. On February 17, 2015, he was signed a contract extension.
