You're Nobody 'til Somebody Kills You
Hi, Laura. I moved the film article to You're Nobody 'til Somebody Kills You. Since there is no song article with a similar title and no other article with a similar title, we do not need to have "(film)" in the film article's title. I changed the note at the top of the film article to point to the Notorious B.I.G. album that has the song of a similar name. Let me know if you have any questions! You can edit this section and reply to me below. You can leave your signature by typing four tildes (~) at the end of your message. Erik (talk | contribs) 15:48, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- Laurawallace799, I deleted the plot text you added to the film article because it was copied from copyrighted material without any apparent permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. In the case of the plot line, it is best to create it in your own words using the actual film as your source. Info at WP:FILMPLOT and Wikipedia:How to write a plot summary provides some helpful tips. — CactusWriter (talk) 16:45, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- Laura, here is an example of writing in your own words based on a reference. At Dark Shadows (film), there is this writeup: "In 1752, the Collins family sails from Liverpool, England to North America. The son, Barnabas, grows up to be a wealthy playboy in Collinsport, Maine and is the master of Collinwood Manor. He breaks the heart of a witch, Angelique Bouchard, who turns him into a vampire and buries him alive. In 1972, Barnabas is freed and returns to find his manor in ruin. It is occupied by dysfunctional descendants and other residents, all of whom have secrets." It is based on this reference. It uses the same information but is written in new words. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Cassidy Turley, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. MikeWazowski (talk) 04:33, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited La Ruda, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Salsa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
