The Detroit Public School League has always been and continues to be commonly known as the PSL (not DPL). The PSL also is an acronym for Proud Strong Learners.

The Detroit Public School League (DPL) is a high school conference based in city of Detroit and governs by Detroit Public Schools (DPS) Office of Athletics.[1] DPL is affiliated with the MHSAA.[2]
