Times Article

In an article in The Times on Saturday 26th September 2009, Lady Campbell said that she had been registered as a boy when she was born due to a "genital defect"; but before she was 3 years old many people had already commented that it must be a mistake. The article says she had corrective surgery when she was 21. Kegon (talk) 09:37, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Mz7 (talk) 22:00, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is she actually a Lady?

Does she actually have the option of keeping the title after divorce? Its not really the same as lower mortals who can remain Mrs Joe Bloggs surely? PeterM88 (talk) 23:09, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, she keeps the title unless she remarries. Zacwill (talk) 00:47, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is she really completely female?

Is there any independent medical confirmation of her claim that she was born female? She looks like a male-to-female transsexual to me and she also adopted rather than having children naturally.TheMathemagician (talk) 20:44, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "independent medical confirmation", but Wikipedia follows the lead of reliable sources, and this Telegraph article provides sufficient verification of the information in question. If there are other reliable sources that disagree with this source, our neutral point of view policy requires us to describe the views of all reliable sources neutrally, fairly, and without bias. In any case, the personal opinion of a Wikipedia editor over how she "looks" is not relevant here. Mz7 (talk) 00:00, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You're not sure what I mean by "independent medical confirmation"? It seems extremely straightforward. All the references for this article are interviews with LCC or recycled PR output. I am asking if there are any statements on the record from doctors confirming her extraordinary life story.TheMathemagician (talk) 00:34, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
*facepalms* You're right, I apologize. I should have understood that right away. I don't have enough knowledge of the subject to know whether such a confirmation exists, but I don't see a compelling reason not to trust an independent media organization like The Daily Telegraph to do their own fact-checking prior to publication. Comment: IMdb and Daily Mail are not good sources. But there are probably better ones. Did you mean "charm skool"?Martinevans123 (talk) 20:18, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. --Stabila711 (talk) 05:13, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
