Cathedral of the Assumption

Assumption Cathedral (alternatively called Dormition Cathedral) is the name of several Ortodox churches consecrated to the Dormition of the Theotokos (Assumption of Mary):
- The Assumption Cathedral in Vladimir (1158-89) - the model for all subsequent churches of that name;
- The Assumption Cathedral in Zvenigorod (1399);
- The Assumption Cathedral in the Moscow Kremlin (1475-79);
- The Assumption Cathedral in Dmitrov (1509-21);
- The Assumption Cathedral in Rostov (date of construction disputed, the early 16th century being the most likely);
- The Assumption Cathedral in Yaroslavl (date of construction disputed, the 1640s being the most likely);
- The Assumption Cathedral in Smolensk (1677-79, 1732-40);
- The Assumption Cathedral in Ryazan (1693-99);
- The Assumption Cathedral in Tula (1762-64).

The Assumption Cathedral in Bangkok (Thai: อาสนวิหารอัสสัมชัญ) is the principal Roman catholic church of Thailand, located in the Bang Rak district of the national capital.
