Welcome to WikiProject Badminton. Some Wikipedians have formed a project to expand and organize information better in articles related to the sport of badminton.
Introduction
Scope
The scope of the project is everything to do with badminton, particularly the players and tournaments. The project can also provide a centralized location for discussion and possibly the creation of a portal, if needed.
Goals
- To write about all the famous badminton players and tournaments around the world.
- To gather complete and accurate information for all badminton related articles.
- To divide the subject of badminton into appropriate subtopics, to make things easier to find.
- To standardize all badminton related articles.
- To provide a manual of style.
- To improve all the stubs article into standard articles.

The international tournaments are categorized by Badminton World Federation. Here is the standard color code for tournament category – to highlight them for different purposes in the relevant Wikipedia articles – is as follows.
Grading of each tournament, please refer to BWF World Rankings: Tournaments or Tournament Calendar websites.
