'Kanungo Belhi'is a name given to Belhi as the Kanungo families reside here.Kanungo is nothing,but a title given by His Majesty,Nepal to this family so as to act as a landlord.For the last time,Sant Lal Das Kanungo was provided with "Birta"(a plot of 750 Bigha).Luckily,this land is still available wth them though they lost about 1750 Bigha of the total. Sant Lal had 5 sons from two wives.
