Charlie Buhler (born 1987) from Mitchell, South Dakota
Pageant Experience
She won the Miss South Dakota USA 2008 title in late 2007, becoming the first African-American woman to win the pageant.[1] She represented South Dakota at the Miss USA 2008 pageant. This was her second attempt at the title, as she placed second runner-up in the 2007 event. She was also a semi-finalist in the Miss South Dakota Teen USA 2006 pageant.[citation needed]She has also directed her own film which is due to be released in December 2016.[2][3]She directed a music video for Katie Stevens.
