Amy-Leigh Hickman (born 16th September 1997)[1] is an English actress, best known for her role as Carmen Howle in CBBC’s Tracy Beaker Returns and its sequel, The Dumping Ground.

Personal Life

Hickman was trained at The Theatre Workshop in Bexhill.[2][3]

Career

Hickman’s casting in Tracy Beaker Returns, a spin off from The Story of Tracy Beaker was announced in December 2009.[4][5] Hickman reprised her role of Carmen Howle in The Dumping Ground, a sequel to Tracy Beaker Returns.[6] In 2013, Hickman appeared in 6 episode of HBO’s Strike Back as Ester.[7][8] In 2014 and 2015, Hickman played Princess Jasmine in her management’s version of Aladdin, which both took place in Swansea, Wales.[9][10] In 2015, Hickman appeared in BBC daytime soap opera, Doctors as Sara Boswell and in Casualty as Aisha Karim.[11][12] In 2015, Hickman starred in another of her management's pantomime, this time in Sleeping Beauty.[13]
