Kurt Kleinendorst (born December 31, 1960 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota ) is the current head coach of the Lowell Devils, the AHL affialiate of the New Jersey Devils. He was previously an assistant coach and later a scout for the Devils. Kleinendorst played four seasons at Providence College and was inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997. He was selected in the fourth round (77th overall) in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers but never played in the NHL. He is the younger brother of former NHL player Scot Kleinendorst.
