Hello, Simplulo. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Jubileasimbolo.png) was found at the following location: User:Simplulo. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 05:19, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at AfC Reputational Cascade was accepted

[edit]

APOLOGIES - this article was prematurely accepted by me. I have reversed this and declined your article, due to the existence of an article on the same topic already published. Please see Reputational cascade. You can update that article with any appropriate material you have developed, but your submitted article can never be approved. -Dovid (talk) 05:37, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dovid, no article Reputational cascade exists--that merely redirects to Information cascade, where it is hardly mentioned. Are you suggesting that Reputational cascade should be a section of that article? Simplulo (talk) 09:10, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reputational Cascade, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Reputational cascade vs Information cascade

[edit]

Hi, Simplulo. I'm continuing this conversation in a new section for visual clarity.

Please note that if you respond to a comment on your talk page, the commenter may never know, because there is no automatic linking mechanism. Either leave a note on the original commenter's page, or use the {{Ping}} template (e.g., {{Ping|Dovid}} to get my attention). The Ping mechanism gives an alert to that user, and the user can then click a link to go back to the page. The funky code gets replaced by the username, linked to the user's page, followed by a colon, like so: @Dovid:

Now, to answer your question. The article you were trying to create would be termed a stub, i.e., a small article that while worthy of recognition for the subject, is not comprehensive. When such articles can really be seen as an aspect of the subject of a more complete article, the usual practice is to update the bigger article, and placing the content there. If there is already a small ==section== in the larger article, you would add your content there. If there is no dedicated section, add a dedicated section for the content and place it there. Either way, be careful to not lose any worthy existing content about the new subject from the original article.

Alternatively, you can expand your stub article to be a comprehensice article on its own. In that case, you might still have a small section about Reputational cascade in the Information cascade article, linking to the new article (after it gets published). The template {{Main|Reputational cascade}} would help you do that, and would appear like so at the top of the section:

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Power (social and political) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hello Simplulo. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Reputational Cascade".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Reputational Cascade}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 11:40, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
