Jurassic Park (fictional theme park)
Jurassic Park is a fictional zoo-like amusement park created by billionaire John Hammond (founder of InGen) and located on the island of Isla Nublar (near Costa Rica). The park is the center of the 1990 novel Jurassic Park and 1993 film of the same name. The park showcases real life dinosaurs, which have been recreated from dinosaur DNA found in mosquitoes trapped in fossilized amber that sucked their blood millions of years ago. The DNA was damaged, so to fill the genetic gaps, amphibian DNA was used.
The park
The park is separated into different zones and dinosaur pens. The hub of the park is the visitors center, which from the outside has stone walls with fossil designs engraved into it, flowing water ducts either side of the steps and has a thatched tiki hut-styled roof.
