Anonymousbananas

02 June 2015
Suspected sockpuppets

1. Upasana98 reviewed two articles with same content Akshay Agarwal and Akshay Aggarwal (Entrepreneur) (both created by Anonymousbananas) stating that it passes notability just to hoodwink other editors that these articles are already checked for notability.

2. At Talk:List of schools in Mumbai the sock tried to help Anonymousbananas to prove what he was saying was correct. They two were trying to corner User:Sitush to give up. Lakun.patra (talk) 15:48, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Adding:
Evidence:
  • Highfever2015 reviewed Rochak Inter-School fest, an article created by Anonymousbananas that later was speedy deleted under A7.
  • Anonymousbananas and Highfever have alternated in recreating the article Akshay Agrawal which has been deleted at least 4 times (incl. following an AFD)
  • That articles subject Akshay Agrawal has created a website classfever.com (pretty spammy) and Highfever, and at least one IP, have added 100s of links to it on wikipedia, eg [1].
  • The users have tagged-teamed on talk pages related to school lists.
So besides obvious sock/meat-puppetry, there is also a good chance of COI/paid-editing. Abecedare (talk) 00:37, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging @Sitush, AshLin, and Ninney: who has been facing off these user's at various article and project talk pages. Abecedare (talk) 00:37, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Space.mountain9 has recreated the same page that was being recreated persistently by Anonymousbananas, the page was recreated with that same picture after being deleted for CSD A7 meaning not many people would know about this person. —Skyllfully (talk | contribs) 04:34, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Socks such as User:Space.mountain9 have been blocked in the past for editing articles regarding the website Classfever, which was founded by a person named Akshay Agrawal. Now the above account, which shares the name of the subject, has been editing the draft biography at Draft:Akshay Agrawal as recently as two days ago and yesterday added his name to a list of alumni at a high school [4]. Please see the sock master's talk page in their block appeal where they name the additional account. In view of their reluctance to name the complete list, and their dissembling when requesting unblock I suggest a sleeper check. I realise the various known puppet accounts are stale, but new ones seem to be very likely. I have little confidence that this editor will not seek to evade the block.

The editor implies that Rollingbananas has socks as well:

"Rollingbananas and any of its socks and socks of account mentioned above, yes that was me. "

The behaviour exhibited by the sock master in the various accounts has been one of blustering, lying, protestations of innocence when caught out and has been unwholesome. For this editor's future here I suggest that there be none.

I have chosen not to notify the accounts on the basis that they have been admitted. Fiddle Faddle 12:28, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
