Pinky Malinky is an upcoming British-American animated television series created by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern for Nickelodeon, based on Garbutt's animated short of the same name for Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe, produced in 2009. In 2015, it was greenlit for a pick-up of 20 episodes,[1] and is currently in production at Nickelodeon Studios, with a premiere date set for sometime in 2016.

It chronicles the adventures of Pinky Malinky (voiced by Lucas Grabeel), an ordinary junior high school student who has inexplicably transformed into an anthropomorphic hot dog, and his efforts to climb up the social ladder with his two human friends, Babs Buttman (Diamond White) and JJ Jameson (Nathan Kress).
