Lemont High School, or LHS, is a public four-year high school located in Lemont, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Lemont Township High School District 210.
History
The current Lemont High School building was constructed in 1924, with additions made in 1950, 1956, 1961, 1969, 1976, and 1996.
Academics
In 2005, had an average composite ACT score of 20.9, and graduated 91.2% of its senior class. The average class size is 20.3. Lemont has made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievement Examination, a state test part of the No Child Left Behind Act.[1]
Athletics
Lemont competes in the Suburban Prairie Conference and Illinois High School Association. Its mascot is the Indians.
