Usage

Use this template to add a reference to the World Checklist database (WCSP for 'World Checklist of Selected Plant Families') on Kew Gardens web site by providing the name of a taxon.

' Note:' The destination page will display all the species of this taxon described by Kew Garden.

' Note:' There are multiple databases provided by Kew Gardens (see this list)

' Note:' This database manages 229 families and is most up-to-date Angiosperme database of Kew

• taxon

The taxon to search

Ex: (for the Philyra): Philyra

• nameid

This is the last number in the URL of the taxon

Ex: http://apps.kew.org/wcsp/namedetail.do?name_id=152054

Ex: (for genus Philyra): 152054

• taxonToDisplay (optional)

The taxon name to display in the link (useful for genera that must be displayed in italic) You can include the author outside of your own italics.

Ex: (for the Philyra): ''Philyra'' Klotzsch

• validity (optional)

If the taxon is considered as unaccepted or synonym by Kew, add nv.
