Sanphebagar is a municipality of Achham District in the Seti Zone of western Nepal. The government formed a new municipality annexing the former villages i.e. Bajinath, Jalapadevi, Siddheswar, Mastamandau, Nawathana, Bhagyeshwar, Ridikot, Chandika on 18 May 2014.[1][2]

Sanphebagar has an airstrip (Sanphebagar Airport) situated about 25 km north of district headquarters Mangalsen to which it is connected by road.

It is on the bank of Budhiganga river. The landscape is beautiful. There are some educational institution. Some of them are Birch Hill Academy, Janakalyan Ma.Vi etc. Among four dham of Nepal Bajinath lies here. The green and peaceful environment attracts lot of people yearly. Its a main trade centre for Achham district.

Most of the people are engaged in agriculture but nowadays people are interested in trade and services too. Its a easy way to reach Khaptad National Park within a day or two.
