Vasily Rochev (born December 22 1951). is a former Soviet/Russian cross-country skier who competed in the 1970's and early 1980's. He won two medals at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York with a gold in the 4 x 10km relay and a silver in the 30km.

Rochev also won two medals at the 1974 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a silver in the 4 x 10km relay and a bronze in the 15km.
