Liō is a daily comic created by Mark Tatulli and syndicated through Universal Press Syndicate. The strip debuted on May 15, 2006 in more than 100 newspapers, including one in Brussels, the capital of Belgium[1]. It is about a little boy, Liō, who has an overactive imagination. The strips sometimes involve the supernatural, creating a somewhat disturbing atmosphere in some of the comics. He is often seen using robots or hanging out with Spider, a spider who helps Liō cheat on tests or, on one occasion, tries to eat the tooth fairy. Another major character is Liō's unnamed male caretaker, presumably his dad, who often has to get him out of trouble.

An interesting aspect of Liō is the general lack of dialogue, though there are on occasion labels for certain objects to make the gags more obvious.
