Outline of proposed changes: Our assignment requires us to provide a plot summary along with a historical context section in regards to the movie's creation. I intend on expounding upon the existing plot summary in regards to overarching themes by providing additional detail. I plan on relating the film's themes back to the historical framework in which it was produced as well as giving a comprehensive view of how social norms are portrayed in the film. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hannahlroe (talkcontribs) 20:29, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I just made some final edits to the plot and historical context sections of this page for my class project. Hannahlroe (talk) 15:15, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't the whole point of this film that it is a deconstruction of 'Le Bonheur' in marriage as the property of the male?81.153.23.148 (talk) 12:15, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
