Removing the link and linebreak
ResolvedI’m proposing we remove the template’s link to the image file. I also believe the template loses value when it breaks across lines (as becomes increasingly likely on smaller screens and longer conversations). Where the template currently reads:
[[File:Face-smile.svg|18px]] '''Thank you'''<!--Template:Thank you-->
I propose that it instead read like this:
<span class="nowrap">[[File:Face-smile.svg|18px|link=]] '''Thank you'''<!--Template:Thank you--></span>

- @MusikAnimal and Plastikspork: I created Template:Thank you/sandbox and Template:Thank you/testcases to demonstrate my proposal. Is it ready for implementation?
