Scrolls of Abraham
The Suhuf-i-Ibrahim (Scrolls of Abraham/Ibrahim (peace be upon you)) (Arabic: صحف ابراهيم) are part of the religious scriptures of Islam, and are believed to lost by some.
In two suras, which are to be dated from the first Meccan period, there is a reference to the 'leaves, scrolls' (suhuf) of Abraham/ אַבְרָהָם /Ibrahim/ ابراهيم (peace be upon you) and Moses/Moshe/מֹשֶׁה /Musa/ موسى (peace be upon you), by which presumably texts of revelation are meant (87:18-19; 53:36-37). The contents of this revelation is not known from the Qur'an.
Moses/Musa and Abraham/Ibrahim LDS thought
It is the theory of some of the Members of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that Suhuf-i-Ibrahim refers to the books known collectively as the Pearl Of Great Price. These books being The *Book of Abraham and The Book of Moses The Pearl Of Great Price was Revealed to their(according to his account) Prophet Joseph Smith, whom some of the members of this denomination use the "peace be upon him," honorific (i.e. as-Salaam Alaykum (السلام عليكم), which means peace be upon you) (Like unto Muhammad and other Islamic Prophets). These writings profess to contain the words of Moses/Musa and Abraham/Ibrahim that are not found in the Koran/Quran and Also not found In the Torah/Tawrat. Some also that are non-members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, other Christians and some Muslims think that certain writings in the Hadiths are the Suhuf-i-Ibrahim. In both cases these veiws are not widely accepted of studied. [1]
