Kharijite Rebellion (866-896)

Just following up on this. Per your suggestion, I moved the article back to its original title and turned "Kharijite Rebellion" into a disambiguation page. Hopefully this works for everyone. Thanks, Ro4444 (talk) 18:07, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Amaan Reza, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please do not remove speedy deletion templates from articles you authored

It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Amaan Reza, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page.

The August 2015 sources don't appear substantively different from the prior sources, but by all means point out how they change the assessment. Indeed, the August 2015 sources don't appear different from each other in any meaningful way. When they are effectively the same, differing only in unimportant ways (e.g. "Reza and so-and-so" vs. "so-and-so and Reza") there is no point including more than one. For the purpose of notability, they will be treated as a single source.}} Worldbruce (talk) 00:17, 4 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on I Turn to You (Ahmad Hussain album), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Just checking in to see if you've had a chance to review my response, and if you agree that the information I deleted is excessive, unnecessary, and cruftish. Please advise :) Anthony (talk) 17:25, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I have reviewed your response and as per my last message I disagree and stand by that as do you. We're both entitled to our opinion and I have currently nothing further to add so I have left it for other editors to weigh in on the matter so consensus established. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
