Talış (also T’alish) is a village in Azerbaijan It is claimed under Armenian control from the 1994 ceasefire until now.[2] Azerbaijanis claimed to 'liberate' it in 2 April 2016[3]

Talish was in epicenter of the border clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2016.

During these border clashes, gruesome images emerged of an elderly Armenian couple that had supposedly been executed appeared.
