In Afghanistan, the lungee is a common name used for the word turban. Afghans simply call a turban lungee. Afghans wear two pieces of fabric and leave the end hanging over the shoulder. Lungees are more common in rural areas of Afghanistan, as men in urban cities usually wear hats or nothing at all.
