Dabhi(also spelled Dabi some where Kushvah-Dabhi) is a clan of Suryavanshi (the clans of the Solar dynasty), descended through Manu, Ikshvaku, Harischandra, Raghu, Dasaratha ,Rama and Kusha

The Dabhi are a Rajput clan found in the state of Rajasthan,Gujarat,Madhypradesh in India.

History

During the seventh century, Mahuba was the capital of Dabhi ruler Muldevji,

The family of Dangarwa estate migrated from Bhildigarh ancestor of Thakur Maherajsinhji, Thakur of Bhildigarh in the year 1250 & before they migrated from [[Mahuva-Khergadh]] in Rajasthan and established their Gaddi at Rudardi,Kushki (now sabarkanth) & than Dangarawa(Mahesana) in Gujarat The state was founded before 1300 by Vejalsinhji Dabhi who came from Bhildigarh.he also fought with Vihol Kshatriya of Dangarwa and around Villages and after defeating them he adjoined Dangarwa and named the Dabhigarh/Vijalwad/Dangarwa and also established Gaddi over there.


Dabhi is Shriram Descent. Dabhi's original Meaning is "Kusha". Dabhi is Created by Valmiki Rushi.
