Essa Nagri
Essa Nagri or Issa Nagri or Eissa Nagri or Isa Nagri (Template:Lang-ur) is one of the neighbourhoods of Gulshan Town, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Eissa or Issa or Isa, the Arabic name for Jesus. There is large Christian population in this neighborhood of Karachi. Eissa Nagri literally means City of Jesus. Eissa Nagri is situated along Sir Shah Suleiman Road in Gulshan Town.
Almost all the resident of this area are Punjabi people and only one religion practiced here that is Christianity.Catholics are in majority. The locality has couple of Catholic churches and missionary schools in this area. The population of Gulshan Town is estimated to be nearly one million. Essa Nagri is the biggest Community of Asia because there are only Christians residing in this town. People of Nagri live politely with each other and a great example of brotherhood can be seen in their ways of living with each other.. . It is a great place with full of peace. By these action from the resident of Nagri they literally show the meaning of their town that it is really 'City OF Jesus'. They help each other with open hearts. These People are Peace lovers. They usually try to act and spend their lives as Jeasus taught according to the teachings of Jeasus.
