It is my understanding that this page, Michael Greene (arts), has been recommended for speedy deletion by a Wikipedia bot. We do not believe this is accurate. Michael Greene was the head of the Grammy Awards for 14 years, and as such, has a place in Wikipedia. The Grammy Award is a household name in the United States, and is recognized the world over in part because of the marketing work Mr. Greene did during his tenure. He has been responsible for changes to copyright and intellectual property laws in the U.S. He is a public figure in the American music industry.

Please let us know what info we need to provide, if any, to substantiate these claims. Please let it be known that we welcome any input that the Wikipedia community has to add about Mr. Greene. Thank you. :) Musicontent (talk) 19:46, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
