The BMW B58 is a turbocharged direct injection straight-6 DOHC engine which began production in 2015.[1] It was launched in the F30 340i.[2] It is also part of BMW's new modular engine family, which is based on each cylinder comprising 500cc. Similar with its N55 predecessor, the B58 also features a single twin-scroll turbo, direct fuel injection, Dual Vanos and Valvetronic .
