Using another user's name (Helios (talk · contribs)) is a flagrant violation of policy. If you wish to use a user name, create an account, but forgery is not an acceptable practice. BiologicalMe (talk) 15:19, 31 May 2016 (UTC)
- My sincere apologies. I just wanted to sign with a name to be noted, which still links to my IP address. I changed the name on all instances. Thank you for noticing me. — TemporaryEditor
- It is easy to notice someone who couldn't follow a policy if you provided a link to it. Despite my showing you a link to "create an account" and putting it in boldface, you continued to use a forged name. The fact that it is not already taken only makes it slightly less egregious. - Are you going to arrest me now? The fact that it was your first argument in that discussion shows that you have nothing interesting to say. I am going to make an account when I see it fit, and you won't forbid me to use a temporary name, since I've done nothing to hide my IP address. Please, no more conversation here. If you have anything relevant for the topic, go do your thing. — TemporaryEditor

P. S. It's obvious I made a spelling mistake. I meant "Thank you for notifying me." What you thought I meant makes no sense, so using some logic might be helpful in the future. The same might apply for many editors who attacked me on MMS talk page.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
