MOS
MOS Stands for Micro Operating System. It is the built-in low-level operating system. The MOS allows the user perform low-level tasks like poking hexadecimal values directly into memory positions to program the computer in machine code and using hardware ports and peripherals.
Software
While running its own version of CP/M, P1/P2 can run any piece of software targetted for that system.
Legacy
While other computer systems of the era like the ZX Spectrum or the Commodore 64 are still common computers in collections, P1/P2 models are hard to find, especially out of Germany. Most of the remaining systems are rendered unusables due to the loss of their CP/M boot disks or PSU failure due to defective components and aging. The number of remaining P1/P2 computers is unknown.
