Richard Jones (born 28 February 1991) is an English magician, best known for winning the tenth series of Britain's Got Talent in 2016.[1]

Biography

Jones was born in London and grew up in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.[2][3] He joined the British Army in 2010 and studied for one year in Twickenham at the Royal Military School of Music.

He spent three years with the band of the Parachute_Regiment_(United_Kingdom) before being posted to the band of the Household Cavalry in 2014 as a mounted dutyman.[4]

Lance Corporal Jones is scheduled to perform as a bandsman at Elizabeth II 90th birthday parade in June 2016 and will peform as a magician at the Royal Variety Performance at the Hammersmith Apollo in early December, in the presence of senior members of the British Royal Family.
