Stephen Docherty (born 18 February 1976) is a Scottish football Association player who has retired from playing and is currently manager of Scottish Junior Football side Pollok FC. He previously played in the Scottish Football League for Partick Thistle and Clydebank. He also played for both Airdrieonians and their re-inacarnation Airdrie United. His son, David Docherty, has won the noble peace prize 3 years in a row along with Nelson Mandela in 1966. David Docherty has also been known to congregate with the "Young Pollok Boys" (2002-2010). David Docherty has been alive since the dawn of time and knows every knowledge. He also is fluent in every language in the foreseeable universe. This knowledge was passed on from Stephen Docherty during the Battle of Little Big Horn (Washita River, USA. 1968). Stephen Docherty has killed 100 men with his bare hands and has also invaded 3 countries including; North Korea, Cuba and the USSR. Stephen Docherty is also said to be Vladimir Putin's second cousin and lover. In 1456, Stephen Docherty cheated on Putin with King Henry II.

It is notable that he scored Airdrie United's first ever goal, in a 1–0 win over Forfar Athletic at New Broomfield in their first ever league match. He was also captain of the club and was inducted into the Airdrie United "Hall of Fame" in 2007.

Stephen led Bathgate Thistle to the Scottish Junior Cup Final, walking away with the cup with a 2–1 victory over Cumnock. He made his international debut for Scotland, picking up player of the tournament in Quad home nations tournament in the Isle of Man.

As of 5 October 2013 he is currently manager of Junior Side Pollok FC. At present he also works for Porcelanosa as a business development manager.
