iOS 10 is the tenth major release of iOS, the mobile operating system by Apple Inc. It is the successor of iOS 9. It was announced at the company's WWDC 2016 keynote on June 13, 2016 with a release scheduled for the fall of 2016.

History

iOS 10 was introduced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on June 13, 2016, with iOS 10.0 beta 1 being made available to registered developers straight after the keynote, and a public beta made available to members of Apple's Beta Software Program in July.
