Oluwaseun Osewa is a Nigerian internet entrepreneur.[1] He is the founder of the most visited indigenous website in Nigeria. Nairaland was launched in March 2005, and its credited to being the biggest African forum according to Forbes.[2] YNaija listed him as one of the most innovative Nigerians in technology.[3] He was also listed among T.I.N Magazine's top 10 most influential Nigerian online entrepreneurs in 2015.[4]

Education

Osewa is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University.


Career

Seun started Nairaland in 2005 for the purpose of income, According to him, he said he actually planned to be making 60,000 Nigerian Naira per month when he started but things came out too positive for him that he was getting much more than that. Seun created a "frontpage" for Nairaland forum to attract more visitors to the website and to make it easy for visitors to be informed. Years later Nairaland's success became really huge that the website became the most visited site in Nigeria and Africa. Seun is a private person, he really doesn't show himself to the world.[5]
