Paramjit Bahia (born November 10, 1950, in Kukar Pind, Punjab, India) was a prominent field hockey player who represented Canada on the Men’s National Team in several international tournaments in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. He was affectionately called "the Jalandhar kid" by his team-mates. He helped his club team, India Field Hockey Club, win many Championships in Vancouver, Canada and elsewhere. After his playing career came to an end, he became a key member of BC Field Hockey (the predecessor to Field Hockey BC) Board of Directors (coaching) and was as a provincial coach.

As a player, he represented Canada in the following international tournaments:

• 1978 World Cup, Argentina[1] • 1979 Pan Am Games (silver medal), Puerto Rico • 1979 World Tournament, Australia • 1977 and 1981 Intercontinental Cups in Italy and Malaysia respectively
