Sakshi Agarwal, born on 20 July 1990 is an Indian film actress, primarily known for her work in the Tamil film industry, Kollywood. She started her career modelling in Bangalore and also worked in two Kannada films, Sandalwood before she began working on Tamil films. Apart from acting, Sakshi has also worked on many TV commercials and photo shoots for some big brands in the city.

Brought up in Chennai, Sakshi completed her engineering degree from St. Joseph's College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai and pursued further studies by attending MBA from a leading institute in Bangalore. After working for a few months in one of the India's top IT companies, she was noticed by a well known fashion designer from Bangalore who gave her a break into the modelling industry.

Early life

Sakshi was born in Almora but soon moved to Chennai with her parents. She grew up in this city. Her father is from Rajasthan and her mother is a homemaker.

Sakshi received a gold medal from Anna University (one of top 256 engineering colleges), then pursued her MBA from Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore.
