Name change

Can any locals please help to verify when and why the town's name was changed, both from Hunt and from Lone Pine? I suspect it could not remain Lone Pine because another town in California already went by that name, but we need a source. 97.68.84.119 (talk) 14:47, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
