Ali Abbas Zafar is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, art director, He is well known for directing Mere Brother Ki Dulhan,Gunday and Sultan (2016 film) [1]

Early life and education

Zafar grew up in Dehradun, He has completed his schooling from Marshall school Dehradun. Later he joined Kirori Mal college for further studies and while studying in Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, he worked part-time in film Amu (2005).

His next directorial venture was with Gunday, which released on 14 February 2014. The film starred Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles, with Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan in the supporting roles.[2][3] His latest film was Sultan (2016 film) released on July 6 2016 starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma.
