This page is to help coordinate meetups of Wikipedians from Utah and nearby areas (southwestern Wyoming, southern Idaho, parts of Nevada, and parts of Colorado, too). Given that most people in Utah live on the Wasatch Front, it's likely that the first meetup or two will be somewhere near the Salt Lake Valley. Please make suggestions for good places to meet below, and add your name to the list of people who are interested in coming. Once we get a decent number, we'll figure out when and where, based on the suggestions.

That would make for three of us; is that enough people to meet in-person? @Admrboltz:, you're up in Salt Lake City and I'm down in Provo, do you think somewhere around Point of the Mountain would be a good compromise? It looks like a park in Lehi called Willow Park might be a fun place, but I haven't been there personally. In Provo, I like Pioneer park near center street. @FallingGravity, Rachel Helps (BYU), Admrboltz, and Useight's Public Sock: Seeing as it's too freaking hot to be outside during the day lately, how about we find a nice indoor place on August 20th? There are three of us in Utah County, how about we meet in Draper (or Riverton, South Jordan, etc.) at a library or a restaurant? @FallingGravity, Nihonjoe, Admrboltz, and Useight's Public Sock: I completely agree with going indoors. Penny Ann's Cafe looks pretty good/cheap. I also love exploring libraries, but I'm not sure if the South Jordan library allows food in their conference rooms (my guess would be no). I'll probably bring my husband and toddler along too.
