Mary Ellen Callahan was a Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Freedom of Information Act Officer (FOIA) (2009 - 2012)[1] of the United States Department of Homeland Security. She was appointed by Secretary Napolitano in March 2009. Callahan is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, on whose Board of Trustees she sits, and The University of Chicago Law School.
